Greg Pier joins the Ski Barn - Wayne,NJ Staff

We're excited & honored to have Greg Pier join our custom boot fitting & race department in the Ski Barn Wayne location. Greg brings many years of Master Boot Fitting & race equipment experience to Ski Barn. Greg has been involved in the race community for many years & is very well respected. We're excited about our newly expanded Race Department featuring the top brands as well as a staff of ski & boot experts who several of them are former racers themselves. We will be offering seasonal rental race boots for juniors to help families out with growing children. We've also added a $250,000 Montana Robotic Crystal Glide Finish Machine to put race structure into the bases of the skis. We will also hand tune race skis by master ski mechanics with many years of experience. The Columbus Day Weekend Tent Sale in Wayne will be October 6-9 with a Swap Sale running Saturday & Sunday plus excellent sales on new equipment & clothing. Please check with Ski Barn in Wayne for more details about the swap & tent sale. We will also have a specific Race Night with race specials for all who qualify from mid September to mid October at the Wayne location. We've also added Ryan Kearns (Ski Tuning Technician) & Molly Hintz (Clothing Department) as well as several other key staff from Heino's. We're excited for them to join the Ski Barn Family & look forward to helping you at the Wayne location.

Mark your calendar for the return of the Audi FIS Women's Ski World Cup to Killington, Vermont on November 25 and 26, 2017. Following the rousing success of its 2016 event, Killington has been chosen to host the races on Thanksgiving weekend through 2018.

Our Mission

“The New Jersey Ski Racing Association is the governing body for U.Ski and Snowboard alpine ski racing in New Jersey. Its membership is comprised of competitors, parents, coaches, race officials, and those interested in being involved in U.Ski and Snowboard racing in New Jersey. NJSRA is responsible for qualifying races and administering state quotas for racers who want to compete in out of state events. Representing New Jersey at Eastern Region meetings, it acts as the communication link between the state's U.Ski and Snowboard ski racing clubs. NJSRA is dedicated to providing programs for young aspiring ski racers. We hold true values by instilling confidence, courage, character, and commitment to becoming the best you can. NJSRA was founded in 1980 to provide training and competition programs for young ski racers, NJSRA has over 400 kids that train with determination and passion. Many will continue with the sport through college for fun and some to even to the National level. NJSRA is also committed to growing the sport of ski racing and building awareness throughout our communities.”
